Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of a Russian father and mother who is a Hindu Indian mother. She is proficient of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent with both of the languages. A choreographed performance at age 11, which appeared on German TV, changed her into the Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. Her high school graduation was successful and earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of English at the University of New York. After school she took acting classes at the HB studio but the moved on to study improvisation in The Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. Her family was brought up within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as Russian-speaking mom Olga. She was only 13 when parents separated. Her father moved the household to East Meadow New York. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television appearance. Her most well-known role is her frequent appearances in Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
